A Walk in the Woods

Yesterday evening I took a walk in the woods with my moms dog. He is a mellow old border collie so he pretty much walks himself. I did some breathing meditation as I walked and felt a sense of peace come over me. I felt a deep connection to God and to nature at the same time. I also noticed I was aware of things like the detail of the leaves, the ripples on the Willamette river and rustling of small woodland creatures in the bushes. This experience was good. My awareness was heightened yet my mind was at peace and harmony
